Following are all the scheduled airline departures from Washington Dulles shown in the 6/64 OAG. It seems the airport was still DIA then; most of the times below are mobile-lounge departure times, but a few? are aircraft departure times.
I forgot to check whether they were all EDT-- might be some EST in there.
Air France 707 leaves MoWeFr at 1930 to JFK-ORY
American 707s (or maybe 720Bs?) leave at 0945 to LAX, 1740 to LAX, and 1830 to DAL-SAN.
Braniff has a flight DAL-DIA-EWR and back, and one SAT-DAL-BNA-DIA-JFK and back. The former leaves at 1355 eastward and 1800 westward, the latter at 0555 and 0100. It just says "Boeing", which probably means 720.
BOAC leaves at 2000 daily to JFK-LHR. Says "Jet", which probably doesn't mean Comet. "Services operated for BOAC-Cunard by BOAC."
Delta has one flight of their own, a MKC-MEM-ATL-CLT-DIA-EWR DC7 leaving at 2220-- was that too late to run it out of DCA?
The DL/PA interchange DC8 left at 1840 daily to ATL-MSY; the eastward flight left at 2045, MoWeSa to PHL-ORY and SuTuThFr to PHL-LHR. Dunno how long that PHL nonstop to Europe lasted-- probably not long?

TWA unspecified piston (probably 1049G, if we can believe the Air-Britain book) to DCA-JFK leaves 0640 daily to connect to a LHR-FRA 707. No local passengers, apparently. "StarStream" 707s (presumably 707-131Bs?) leave at 0945 to LAX-SFO, 1730 to LAX, 1800 to SFO and 2040 to EWR. Starting 15 June a turbojet 707 will leave at 1930 daily to LHR-FRA; this was DIA's first nonstop to Europe?

Airlines moved some flights back to MDW in the late 1960s, under pressure from the City of Chicago, due to overcrowding at ORD. Also, all of the US airlines that began service to Chicago in the late 1960s and early 1970s (Northeast, Southern, Piedmont, and Frontier) were required to serve MDW. The 1973 / 1974 energy crisis, and the recession that followed it, caused most of the flights that had been moved to MDW in the late 1960s to be moved back to ORD, or cancelled.
By 1978, DL was the only large airline left at MDW, with a couple of flights to STL and MEM.
