Hi All...
Was just wondering if any fellow A.netters were fortunate enough to be on the recent LHR-BOM (BA139) or BOM-LHR(BA138) flights??
With new WT, WT+ and First seats, plus the new Thales IFE system....I'm curious to hear how it went!

Quoting jayeshrulz (Reply 1): The first flight to BOM is yet to occur my friend.
It will be a night flight to BOM on 3rd September. I hope i can capture it =).
Have a nice day.
The first flight already took off on the 1st September 2010 at 2.45 am from BOM. I was myself shocked to see it over the western express highway. When I went home, I saw the flight on the GDS. It was a last minute change and truly a hush hush affair.
Besides, many UK spotters have already captured this plane en route to BOM on the 31st August 2010 morning.

Quoting scrappy27 (Reply 5): Thanks for the backup Speedbird 741!!??
You're welcome. Have a look at this website. Just plug in any registration or flight and you'll see where the aircraft are and where they have been recently.

Does anyone know where this aircraft is going to in the next 2 weeks or so. I know originally it was supposed to operate on the ORD, DXB and BOM routes but so fare it has just operated to BOM.

I'm not sure about DXB, but I think that it's only supposed to fly to ORD on Wednesdays.

Quoting Hywel (Reply 22): G-STBB was ferried from CWL to LHR 2 days ago.
It is due back from DEL as BA142 on Wednesday morning (scheduled 06.45 am) after its maiden revenue flight LHR-DEL (BA143) from LHR on Tuesday 21 September. G-STBA appears to be having its first day off since it first entered service three weeks ago.
