out of my hotel window near Reykjavik domestic airport, I can see the Swiss DC-3 HB-ISC just doing an engine run. It has been here for at least two days now. Does anybody know what it is doing here? Transatlantic crossing?
BTW Also saw the ANA Boeing 787 in Keflavik, quite a surprise!

I am bumping this thread because I used the seach function in lieu of starting a new one.
HB-ISC landed at CYQB a few hours ago. Funny thing is I had no idea it was coming here. I was just out there photographing aircraft when another photographer comes up and asks me if I too came for the DC-3. I was quite excited to get a few decent shots. Too bad it was overcast, my photos will end up in my personal collection.
I learned from FlightAware it came from Goose Bay (YYR) and, before that, Narsarsuaq, Greenland (UAK). It looks like it's going to spend at least the night here.
