They probably have already hired the staff, or at least begun the interview process. With service 2 months away, I imagine they have already begun training or are about ready to do so. I doubt they would wait until the last minute to get something so important done. The new BDL staff will have to handle massive holiday crowds (Thanksgiving, then Christmas) practically from day one, and they can't be expected to perform without a good deal of training beforehand...
Flying in the middle seat of coach is much better than not flying at all!

I think the positions were posted already and they had enough applications to close it out on the website. Ground will most likely be contract, airport ops we may have a small crew for. I doubt they would contract the airport ops crew in a city that is in the northeast and has the potential for growth. ACK is a contract crew (Cape Air) along with some of the island destinations (which I am excited to be doing station visits in next week...BGI, SXM and UVF!!). I don't see it posted internally either anymore. I know my co-worker applied for the GM or Sup position in BDL.
