Just posted on Allegiant's Facebook page about 50 minutes ago: a new route announcement tomorrow between two existing G4 cities. No clues given this time.

I'm sure many here have their own hopes on future G4 routes. Myself, I'm hoping for the return of FWA-LAS.

I don't work for FWA, their tenants, or their ad agency. But I still love FWA.

Maybe they are going to start flying the 757 on some longer routes soon. LAS/LAX to SFB/MCO?

They're busy little bees over at G4...for some reason, I'm smelling pie...ICT-PIE to be exact. Do they plan on announcing new routes every few days now or is this just a summer thing?

On the occasion of United overtaking Frontier as my most-flown airline, I say...let's get friendly.

Dont rule out Fort Myers(RSW), or possibly Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte(PGD). Me thinks sooner or later for Allegiant.........

GRR and ?????...If your putting in a crew base in GRR, Me thinks you need a few more trips outatown.
safe

AZA-Minot/Duluth/Kalispell/Bozeman

One of those 4 routes

On G4's facebook page, it says this is one of many announcements this week. So it looks like multiple routes will be announced this week

I have my fingers crossed for the return of MFE-LAX.... when it was cut (after only 3 months of service), I recall LFs being at 80%, after starting out somewhere around 65%. A few more months could have got it closer to their average of 90%.....

I hate to burst your bubble, but the LAX-MFE LFs were the worst of any route out of LAX and most likely system wide. I can probably pull them up for you, but I'm quite positive they never broke even 70%. DL axed this route as well due to poor LFs

I can only hope for a GFK-SFB or MCO route, but I'm sure it will be AZA (or IWA-whatever milks your gurnsey) related.

Actually, the figures were posted here on this site. The first month, they were below 70%. Right before it was cut, the load factor was 80 or 81%. Most people didn't even know that the route existed, 3 months isn't enough time to market the route. If it improved from 65% to 80% in 3 months, I think it would have been successful if it was given more time. The Las Vegas and Orlando routes out of MFE took some time to get established, and now they are so popular that they were both daily for certain periods this year.

GSO-PGD didn't surprise me. I know that Skybus was successful on this route during their existence. Should be successful for (much stronger) G4, too.

Wonder if this means a lot of PGD expansion? Would love to see FWA, but I have a feeling PGD's runway is too short to handle a 166-seat MD-83 on the leg to FWA.

Well...I would assume you guys might have a shot. They won't be returning TOL-LAS any time soon as they told us recently we won't be getting it, though they were considering it.

I was just down there a few weeks ago. The counter they share with Direct Air is TINY!. If they plan on more flights, I would think they would need more counter space.
