Airliner World, Airways and Australian Aviation would have to be my three favourites. I am not that keen on magazines that are devoted to colour schemes and serial numbers but Airways and Airliner World in particular often have a view of a flight from the flight deck and what goes on during a flight that makes it really worth while.

Flight International is great for weekly news and reports. I think that Airways is best for articles that deal exclusively with commercial aviation. Wings Magazine is great for Canadian aviation.

I've read Airliner World, Airways, and Airliners, and like them in that order. The photos in Airliner World are decent, but their articles are easy to read and they focus on the global airline scene. Plus, I feel the magazine doesn't have a lot of ads and is good value - if you can find a copy!

I think if you want the detail on the inside of the business, Air Transport World is the one to go for.
Airliners and Airways are nice for the enthusiast market, giving a good overall perspective.
I've never really liked the mags pushed out by Key Publishing - the publishers of Airliner World. Their previous titles, especially Air Forces Monthly, are in my opinion a bit trashy and firmly oriented towards the passing trade on the newstand market, rather than bieng aimed at the really serious enthusiast. Airliner World has avoided that trait to an extent but none the less still exhibits some of these tendencies. They must be doing something right with this title though, as it is one of the most popular aviation magazines published in the UK - I understand its success has even surprised its publishers.

Airliner World from the UK is very good, and i also get Australian Aviation, but for you people outside of Oz it may not interest you. Airliners mag is not as good in my opinion as Airways but thts just my point of view.
