After reading the topic on KE dumping DFW back from 744 to 772 by March 29, I looked up BA - lo and behold they are running 744 from Dec 1 - Mar 27 and then going back to 772, according to OAG.

Both KE and BA had initially been stated to be permanent changes to 744 on the DFW routes.

The spring schedules have not been updated yet. They may put a 777 back on DFW, but we wont know for another 3 or 4 weeks or so.

The 777 from March 27 onward has been like that since they changed the flight to a 744.

With AA and BA starting to coordinate schedules to the US, I think sometime at the beginning for November, it should be set.

DFW-LHR would be best served in bulk so the 744 would be a good plane for it.

I agree - I was imaging a BA 744, AA 777 and 763... with maybe AA going 2x daily 777 in the summer. I hope DFW is able to keep 747s on this and the KE route.

Also was hoping for IB to takeover the DFW-MAD route, but oh well.

You are looking at BA's default schedules, which are essentially replicates of the summer 2010 schedule.

Check back after IATA in mid-November.

IATA in mid-November - fill me in, I know what IATA itself is, but in what context are you speaking of? Planning, scheduling conference etc? Not trying to be smart, but curious to learn.

The twice-yearly (November and June) IATA scheduling conferences. More explanation here.

It sure would be nice to see CDG and MAD go 777 again for S11. I guess we'll find out in Mid-November.

That we wouldnt know until early next year, but with LAX-PVG and JFK-HND, I dont think so.

Thats a better use for the aircraft anyhoo.

Unlikely with JFK-HND and LAX-PVG starting; plus a second daily MIA-MAD launching in April.

If anything, DFW-MAD will go 346, IMO.
