Petra Airlines has received one of two ex-Gulf Air A-320 aircraft and they intend to operate charter flights from Europe to Jordan. Good luck to them. Here is a link to their website. http://www.petraairline.com/

It's not bad, but it looks like a flying billboard for a prescription drug...

On the occasion of United overtaking Frontier as my most-flown airline, I say...let's get friendly.

The nacells say the RUM group. Is that the same people that operated the L-1011's as Air Rum?

No, they have nothing to do with the ex-L-1011 operator Air Rum although the owner is also Jordanian. Rum is in reference to Wadi Rum - a famous touristic spot in Jordan.

Hi Ronerone..correct, they will be using Marka International which is now abuzz with aircraft from Jordan Aviation, Royal Faclon, general aviation and RJAF aircraft.
