Airbus have updated their Orders and Deliveries spreadsheet for September signing a total of 78 orders and delivering a total of 45 aircraft for the month.

Orders booked in September were as follows;

3 x A319 for Tibet Airlines a new customer for Airbus
30 x A350-900 for Cathay Pacific - firming up of their previously-announced commitment
2 x A330F for Malaysia Airlines
8 x A319 for Germanwings
19 x A320, 1 x A321 and 3 x A333 for Lufthansa
2 x A320, 2 x A321 and 5 x A333 for Swiss International Air Lines
3 x A320 for AERCAP

Deliveries in September were reported by Airbus as follows;

An A380 for Emirates, bringing to 37 the total number of 21st century Airbus flagship airliners provided to airline customers.

Eleven A330/A340 widebody aircraft were delivered during the month, including the first three A330-200F freighters, which were received by Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines and global aircraft lessor Aircastle Limited for Hong Kong Airlines.

Single-aisle A320 Family deliveries in September were composed of 5 A319s, 27 A320s and one A321. Among these were the first new A320 for Libyan Airlines.

With the Lufthansa Group order they are now Airbus's biggest airline customer with a combined total of 410 Airbus aircraft booked.

Total year to date gross orders now stand at 379 and net 328.

Good to see both OEMs registering substantial orders at the end of Q3 and hopefully we'll see the same rate of demand into year end for both.

Who was on top before that? If you include Edelweiss, it's actually 413.

Biggest overall customer is ILFC with 629 planes, btw.

Eleven is really a lot. Nice to see the A332F getting into the game. There will be many more of this version.
