Seat Counter has been down for quite a while because of maintenance. I'm suspicious that it's either shut down for good or when it does come back it will be available for a fee. Is a competitor, Flight Stats, free to use?

Yes, flightstats.com is still free to use.

Active loading only, ma'am, keep it moving!
