From Av Week http://bit.ly/9ZUVVu - UK logistics company Stobart Group, famous locally for its road haulage unit, has signed a five year deal with Aer Arann to start operations at London Southend Airport that could help the Irish turboprop operator exit its court organized restructuring.
Possibly a great way for Stobart to enter the Irish market - Stobart’s introduction will also benefit the logistics firm. “The association with Aer Arann, which is a household name in Ireland, would further strengthen and develop Stobart’s position in the Irish market which has grown from no presence to a €40 million business in two years,” says the freight company.

Quoting aviationweek (Thread starter): Aer Arann to start operations at London Southend Airport that could help the Irish turboprop operator exit its court organized restructuring.
It is somewhat ironic that Aer Arann, with its financial problems, seeks to serve Southend as a means by which to rid itself of its financial problems. Haha. Only teasing. Will be good to see what develops.
