Hey A'netters. Apparently I've been living under a rock and have just found out about Skywest taking delivery of an A320. Live flight tracking has it currently in the air to MEL from KGI and PER, which is also the only route I've seen mentioned after a search on here.

Does anyone know of other destinations it's used to, or is it just back and forth between Perth and Melbourne?
Does it stop in Kalgoorlie both ways?
Any plans for further interstate expansion by Skywest?
Any plans for further fleet expansion by Skywest?

This has really got me curious guys, I tend to hardly think of Skywest and if I needed to get to one of their destinations I'd either drive (Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Esperence etc), or plan with QF or DJ (Broome, Darwin).

Thanks in advance

This has been planned for a very long time, they aquired the A320 from First Choice over in the UK, but have had problems in getting the aircraft here with the appropriate training and such..

I do remember seeing that mentioned in one of the Australian Aviation Threads, I just had no idea that it had taken place... hence the interest.

On their actual route maps it's not included at all. Would certainly make their package to Bali more attractive on an A320, even if they do still fly via Broome.
