What routes does Continental use the 757-300 on? I know EWR-LAS and sometimes EWR-FLL, but what others? What routes do we expect United to use them on? Hawaii? What other high-denstiy, leisure routes are there for United?

The 753's are also flying IAH-MSY twice daily for the time being.
Is there really THAT much demand to the big easy, or is it because it's so close it's essentially utilizing idle time between the key trunks ?
I really hope UA can leverage the 753 for domestic drunks (how about SFO-IAD?), and save any 752/763 for much needed international long-n-thin expansion ?

Houston-New Orleans has always been a high demand route. The 753's have been flying the route, at least seasonally, ever since they entered the CO fleet in the early 00's.

What ever happened to gogo wifi being installed on the 753s? They made an announcement last year that it was to be installed by the 2Q of this year but it seems to have not happened for whatever reason.

I believe they announced that this would stop when the merger happened. I imagine it will resume in the near future though.

Quoting apodino (Reply 4): They were flying IAH-LAX a couple of years ago, but I am not sure if they still are.
They still fly them on the IAH-LAX-IAH route. In fact I flew on one of their 753s on that route a couple of weeks ago.

New Orleans is the top destination from Houston - buisiness and VFR. This route was A300 before.
Continental utilizes the 753 on IAH-LAS, IAH-MSY, IAH-LAX, IAH-ORD, IAH-DEN, IAH-MCO, IAH-SEA, IAH-EWR, IAH-SFO, IAH-CUN, and IAH-CLE.
I didn't check for EWR but IAH it also shows up periodically on PDX and FLL.

Yes.
In addition to tens-of-thousands of former New Orleanians living in Houston since Hurricane Katrina, and hundreds of Gulf cleanup people moving back and forth (some wearing their work jump-suits), MSY and IAH have always been connected at the navel and co-dependent economically

I have seen them at SJU this summer. I am not sure, however, where it was coming from/going to, or if they still operate them to SJU.
