United (CO Colours) B752 Overnight At GLA?

Didn't see this posted elsewhere.

I flew out of GLA last night, leaving around 2125 on a WW flight bound for EMA.
What struck me as unusual, was at the remote stands opposite the UK, Eire & IoM terminal sat a UA 752 in CO colours. I wasn't aware that they overnighted an aircraft in Glasgow (which seems the unlikely situation), and I'm guessing there must have been a major technical problem?

I'm 98% certain it was definately a 752 belonging to the company I mentioned. I managed to get a good look at her in the darkness from my flight for about 30-40 seconds (and again briefly on departure).

Did I see correctly? And if so, why is it overnighting in GLA?

Which means technically it's a CO aircraft in new United colors, rather than the other way around.
