So, B6 opens at BDL in 2 weeks. I was there last week and did not see any sineage at any of the open gates. I am not sure about ticket counter space as I went direct to security. Anyone in the know?

They also have Ronald Regan, Raleigh, and all of the other seasonal destonations on Delta, West Palm, and Ft. Lauderdale on southwest, Frontier to Milwaukee, and La Guardia for Piedmont. It amazes me how they get it done. Right now it looks like they are just going to use A8, but I have a feeling that B6 is going to do very well at BDL, and will need more gates.

-thank you

it's nice how they close down Terminal B, then airlines expand and 2 more begin service.

Bradley is going to be a very tight operation. can't wait for a big snow storm.

BDL has handled plenty of big snowstorms...ones where all sorts of flights trying to make it to JFK ended up landing at BDL instead. Sure it's a compact airport, and there is a master plan to tear down the B building and construct a new terminal. But for the time being, the airport works fine with overnighter airplanes being towed to remote areas, and the airlines themselves practicing efficient aircraft operations. From what I have heard, Jetblue's gates are in the new A terminal, probably the old NW one.

Will UA move over to the CO gates or vice versa? I expect that once UA/CO combines operations there will be two additional gates open. In fact, I was surprised that AA moved where they did. I had expected CO to move over and make the older concourse the *A wing.

yes but back then they had the luxury of having the B Terminal open. with everything now in one terminal, it will be delay central. good times had by all.

the best solution is an Air Canada/Continental swap.

How, exactly, will the more compact layout increase delays?

it'd be pretty obvious to anyone who has lived here and uses the airport on a frequent basis.

I lived in Hartford. I used the airport prior to AA and AC moving. There was little or no congestion. How do 25 or fewer AA/AC flights change the picture?
