OS resumed flights today on the VIE BOM run.
I think it's a great move for them to resume after a close to two year hiatus.
They should do quite well.

Anyone have info on the loads for the first flight, pics, info on either the VIE or BOM end?

What is the schedule/timings for this flight?
Is it suitably timed for US connections?

Great move and now the LH group has flights from most of it's major hubs to BOM and DEL - from FRA/ MUC/ ZRH and VIE. I think LHR is the only one missing (though happy to be corrected).

This makes it a 747 (FRA), 346 (MUC), 767 (VIE) and 333 (ZRH) - which is still small compared the (almost) 5X daily 77W sized ops to DXB by EK!!!

i agree....is MUC-BOM now operating with A340-600? I was under the impression it is a A330-300.

the VIE-BOM-VIE flight is timed really well for connections to JFK/IAD and many european destinations. not sure about YYZ...have not checked that sched

Its still a A333. A346 was removed Long Back.

I wish OS good luck with their new flight.

Their Timings are
1030 Departure from VIE and 2250 arrival in BOM
0125 Departure from BOM and 0535 arrival in VIE

Keep flying, because the sky is no limit!

LH never operated a A346 on a scheduled basis on MUC - BOM.
