Flydubai is really starting to serve some interesting places - Afghanistan, Djibouti, Turkmenistan...what's next, Somalia?
Flying in the middle seat of coach is much better than not flying at all!

I think it just proves how many connections there are between the Middle East and those locations. Whereas Emirates is a mega airline using DXB as, largely, a connection point between two usually very distant locations, FlyDubai is focusing on Middle Eastern travel itself. Comparing fares for the Middle East like I have been doing lately, the savings of using FlyDubai versus Emirates, where DXB is the starting/ending point, is HUGE! FlyDubai has been doing an excellent job grabbing the "regional" (i.e. not Australia, Japan, UK, USA, South Africa, etc.) traffic and bringing them where they need and want to go.
That being said...nope, I don't see Somalia anytime soon
