Nice!

I'm 99% sure this is part of the big order which will be announced today.

Will all A320's be build in China, or would some of them come from TLS as well? Are A320's build in China identical to those build in TLS? ( In case they ever need to sell them )

A320 now is also built at Hamburg. The Chinese version is only assembled in China , not built. All parts come from the traditionnal Airbus manufactures in Europe , then shipped to Tianjin , so probably the Chinese version is identic to the European versions. All Chinese assembled A320 are destined up to now to the Chinese market.

I wouldn't consider 36 to be so large.

It is part of 102 ordered by China - 66 of them being new orders.

It's not small!

But China tends to order aircraft in bunches of 100-150, so it's somewhat routine at this point.

So what orders will form the rest of the 100+ Airbus's they are supposed to be buying?

Given that, AFAIK, Airbus hasn't confirmed this order, I believe the 102 from "China" comprises 66 firm from CASG and these 36 commitments from China Southern.

When was the "prevous" order placed, and what was ordered?
Anybody?

Without yet having the updated spreadsheet from Airbus (incl. October) I calculated that Airbus now has 435 net orders.
The A320 family has 265 net orders which is 61% of the frames.
However the widebodies displays over 59% of net sales (average list price).

It seems the A330 is becoming the preferred medium transport in China.
