A couple of my friends at AA HQ said there is now a dot on the wall where YWG would be on the map in the lobby to HDQ1. Also, DME has been removed (but still is on listed on the clock for that time zone) and HEL has been added. Is YWG coming back?

Back to YWG? When was the last time AA/Eagle served YWG? Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. If the new Great Plains additions like FAR and FSD are doing well, YWG would probably be the next logical addition.

Flying in the middle seat of coach is much better than not flying at all!

I wouldn't put too much stock in that map. Last time I was there - a few weeks ago - it still looked as though it hadn't been updated in 15+ years.

I wish they get back to YEG too.

Actually I don't think AA ever served YWG on their own. I remember it as a CP codeshare in the late '90s-early 2000s.

AA flew F-100's ORD-YWG during the 90's.

Correct. 3x daily F100 to ORD. It was shortlived.

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

When the Canada-U.S. open skies agreement went into effect, AA ran a lot of ads in the Chicago papers announcing service to YOW, YWG, and YYC.

I just happened to go to the Oneworld web site and on then went to the interactive route map to my surprise YWG is listed. However when you click on it a message comes back no routes listed. Could this be another indication that YWG will be add by AA/Eagle soon?

Living in LA, ORD/MDW will always be home!

I was just HDQ1 this afternoon. The map is quite outdated. It still lists SJU as a hub, and many cities shown on the map are no longer served, such as DUS, TXL and ARN. Likewise, DEL and PVG are not shown.

AA - Doing what we do best.
