A friend on a flight headed to PVR was diverted to SJD because of a airplane that had their landing gear collapsed upon landing in PVR. I can't find anything in the news regarding this, and have looked on google news/bing news with no luck. Anyone heard anything about this and know the details? Apparently the runway was clsoed for multiple hours.

AS 258 actually went back to LAX And 220 back to SFO. Outbound PVR-LAX AND PVR-SFO canceled.

So it happened early. And we haven't heard of any other U.S. carriers having issue's. Private plane?

Thank you for posting that. That was a nice display of airmanship and very professional rescue services.
