I've just come across a few F1 websites stating that Formula One's governing body "Formula One Management" has chartered a whole A380 to fly the teams members from this week end's Brazil GP in Sao Paulo to Abu Dhabi, which the venue of this season's last GP next week-end ?

Anyone heard ? I had thought of EK being the operator ?

Usually Grand Prix are every two weeks except when they are held in the same region (Korea-Japan, Spain-Monaco e.g).

When TAM takes one of their 2 A340's out of service and one A330, how do they fill their regular routes?

In an ideal world - it is preplanned as this appears to be and the cancel the scheduled flights.
If a small amount of people were already booked, they reportect them or rebook them.

Well I think the A380 story is a hoax. But I'm pretty sure the QR and EK flights were quite full yesterday out of GRU, as they'll be the next three days...
