This was the headline on the local news here in SEA this morning, and it's mentioned in this article on Yahoo
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/obama_asia

Here's the line from above link

The commercial deals he announced include the purchase of 33 737s from Boeing by India's SpiceJet Airlines; the Indian military's plans to buy aircraft engines from General Electric; and preliminary agreement between Boeing and the Indian Air Force on the purchase of 10 C17s.

I didn't see anything on Boeing's website though, so not sure if it's firm. The local news is also reporting that we should expect more orders from Indian airlines during Obama's trip. Dare I hope for a 748i order from AI?

That will only happen if Obama starts delivering pro - outsourcing speeches!

Currently, they can't even fully utilise the 777s. They need to wait a few years to see how the DEL hub strategy works out before ordering 748i or A380.

Does anyone have figures for AI's DEL-NA flights.
