Hi Everyone,

Just had confirmation that ZK-OKM will arrive in AKL from LAX on Wednesday 22nd December at 8am. AKL spotters may want to get their cameras ready.

Thanks for the info. Is the flight from LAX to AKL a scheduled revenue flight or a delivery flight? When does ZK-OKM arrive LAX from PAE?

It departs PAE at 2pm, arriving LAX at 4:20pm on Monday 20th. Then leaves LAX for AKL at 9:45pm. The two day difference is due to the International Date Line.

No it's not. Flight is positioning only.

How definite is the 13th of Jan for the inaugural flight?

It's all about the destination AND the journey.

Oops, disregard the last message. I see that the inaugural flight has been changed to Melbourne on the 10th Jan.

So need to watch for a NZ80xx flight number on Flightaware. Is the LAX stop for the purpose of showing off the new product to the "trade"?

All positioning flights start with a 6. From memory think it was NZ6314, but I will double-check.

I don't know, but put it this way all the other 77Es were delivered direct from PAE so it makes sense

Delay?

I notice the poster is Francophone

It is my understanding that in French "delai" can have a different meaning from the English "delay" , it can mean the period of time one has to wait for something , it doesn't necessarily have to carry any sense of something being later than originally scheduled . So my guess is AF022 was just asking "How long" from order to delivery .

are they going to take up the options on the 77W's? you got an 8 month gap next year, and with 787's getting later and later. think its time to get the cheque book out...
