It looks like US Airways is having the most difficulties putting butts in the seats...they have the worst performing flight as far as load factor goes, i presume the route performs much better during other months or they wouldn't run it, no?

Well, that would be DL, but it is US Airways' 5th month of operation, so there is really no basis for comparison to see if US Airways' performance is consistently better in other months or not.

Thanks for taking the time to post all the info, Dan.

JJ MIA GRU 99,8%
JJ MCO GRU 93,3%
JJ GIG JFK 92,3%
JJ GRU MIA 90,2%

The top 4 are all from TAM, which could be because of the stronger Brazil-US at this point. MIA will soon have a new route from CNF and BSB to help both MIA-GRU and MIA-GIG to deal with more O&D. GIG-JFK was the best performer Brazil-US leg which just confirms how the flight improved (despite all the negative opinions in the past that would not last more than 1 season).

US CLT GIG 60,0%
US GIG CLT 55,9%
AA REC MIA 55,4%
DL ATL MAO 45,2%
DL MAO ATL 42,4%

Two routes that were/will be discontinued (MAO and REC) and US new flight with 5 months of life and for the first time, with good cargo volumes. They are improving as month after month they settle the agreement with TAM to allow passengers to use the domestic network of JJ at GIG. Nowadays they are around 75% LF.

Quoting danvs (Thread starter):
AA GRU JFK 89,0%
AA JFK GRU 88,1%
AA MIA GIG 87,9%
AA GIG MIA 87,5%

No surprise, the top 4 are almost always the same and make me believe that if AA uses a better product on MIA-GIG they could even got loads around 95%. JJ offers the best product, and got the best loads (and for sure the yields)

Quoting danvs (Thread starter):
CO IAH GIG 74,7%
CO GIG IAH 71,2%

I'm surprised with this "low" number. Despite fares are mostly O&D and J is almost always packed, i would expect this flight to be around 80's

DL GRU JFK 80,8%
DL ATL GIG 76,7%
DL GIG ATL 76,3%
DL ATL MAO 45,2%
DL MAO ATL 42,4%

I think DL was the one that got the hit with US new service as in the past ATL-GIG was in general closer to ATL-GRU in terms of loads. With the new JFK and DFW services from AA, it seems they will see more challenges.

Quoting danvs (Thread starter):
DL GRU LAX 28,4% 122/430 pax
DL LAX GRU 22,3% 96/430 pax

This was just to secure the frequencies, not a surprise.

JJ shows the most impressive results. Almost all routes above 85% !

Quoting danvs (Thread starter):
KE LAX GRU 69,1%
KE GRU LAX 63,4%

More than two years and they still struggle to got something more, and at least 60% of the traffic comes from ICN.

The ATL-MAO route has been cancelled. Which leaves the next weakest-performing Delta route ATL-GIG, which is 75%+. Still miles ahead of LCC's Brazil service as far as load factor is concerned.

Lets see how DL JFK-GRU performs in the future now that AA will have more seats in Sao Paulo.
