The pilots of AB might strike as soon as this Wednesday. Reason is that the pilot union (Vereinigung Cockpit - VC) and AB can not agree on conditions of labour, meaning uniform condition for all pilots of the company, concerning. It is about working time, rest time, and readiness time. VC says pilots are tired of the negotiations and want results. The strike is supposed to be a sign. No information about size and duration of the strike yet.
This will have an impact on quiet a few travellers here in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
