Billing its new route to Guangzhou as being in the "Republic of China" is a huge faux pas in anyone's language !

They have also announced that flights to PEK-Beijing are being increased from 5 weekly to daily nonstop effective Dec 22nd with all services being operated with a B 773ER.

Does any body have a rough idea how TK's cargo loads are on their long haul flights worldwide?

Interesting how TK correctly describes Beijing as being in the PRC whereas it believes Guangzhou is located in Taiwan !

It can only be a matter of time before TK corrects the Guangzhou faux pas !

Good for TK (I have heard great things about them) and for CAN! All the best to TK.

I wonder, though, if it'd be better to use the A332 on this route. I have the feeling the 77W might be a bit too big.

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

Definitely a welcome move.

Actually, TK will be the 2nd european member of Star Alliance to serve CAN (No 1 is LH unsurprisingly).

ST only serves it through AF+CZ, while OW European members are absent there.
