Emirates UK Managing Director has announced that Glasgow is on a "wish list"
of services that they want to operate.

Confirming that the catchment area would support a Dubai service, he said
that Glasgow was somewhere that they kept coming back to with the aim of
starting a flight series.

Would be good if they do, would provide a good service through to Pakistan, which PIA does not know whats going to happen? So while PIA are stalling, EK should get in there!
BTW, With Regards to GLA, are there any good spotting area's. Havent been for a while, mainly sticking to NCL and MAN nowadays, so was thinking of popping up.

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

Come to NCL for god's sake - then I can go NCL-DXB-BAH rather than NCL-LHR-BAH.

PS - does anyone know what the 'X' in DXB is for?

If you have a car there are a few good spotting places around the perimeter of Glasgow Airport. The details are on my web site at
http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/shangrila/las/53/index
The movements site at http://www.egpf.co.uk will give you an idea of what to expect.

It's a massive wish list, which will only be fulfilled when they order more planes/get delivery of the ones they've ordered.
