Hi all,

It seems like Iberia Regional (Air Nostrum) got their 1st out of 35 CRJ-1000s delivered.

Several questions come to mind:

- Where will the CRJ-1000s be based?
- Where will they fly?
- When is the delivery of the rest of the aircraft expected to be?

Any thoughts?

So basically it looks like the CRK will be used to increase capacity on existing routes between MAD and Spain's bordering countries (considering Italy "borders" by sea) as well as some intra-Spain routes.

MAD-WAW

That seems like an awful long route for a CRJ (no problem in terms of range, I'm referring to comfort)...

The CRJ will only operate MAD-WAW on a weekly basis temporarily, (alongside IB's regular A320 service). It will be taken off of the route by March.

I'll fly to MAD in April with YW and I would like to know when the flights from OPO with these new planes will start?

MAD-WAW and VLC-LPA are three-hour flights, so the YW CRKs must be ER versions then.

The seats and aisles are as wide on the CRK as on the B737, I think, and YW has a nice inflight service concept, according to many aviation fans...

MAD-MAN would be lovely and might be allowed to happen once BA-IB merge into IAG
