2,000 Evacuated At CDG - Snow Damage

BBC is reporting - no link yet - that 2,000 have been evacuated from a CDG terminal because the weight of snow on the roof may cause the roof to collapse.

The BBC is also reporting severe delays at BRU where they report one runway is blocked by snow. They also say there is severe disruption at DUS.

There is no end to that snow saga !

Terminal 2E collapsed in 2004 killing four people, if they fear it cannot stand the snow, the people that rebuilt it are in big trouble !

Its going to be a looong winter, an astrophisycist has predicted terrible snowstorms for the east coast from today till Jan 2...I wonder where the next global warming...ops climate change summit will be ..in the middle of the Sahara?...
I wonder how much glicol the airlines will use for this weather and if they will have enough of it...

Well, there are theories being worked on that explain the current situation by the warming. And the global average temperature has indeed risen, the weather here or there doesn't change that fact.

I agree however that scheduling these summits in say June (in the northern hemisphere) might be a better idea.
