Quoting OA260 (Thread starter): Anyone care to take a guess which ones will be featured? I think we know SXM will be one
I'm guessing that this is probably the same show that was aired here over the Summer on History. There was a thread on that show when it aired here. If it is the same show, then consider this a "spoiler alert", as the 10 airports they listed are covered in the thread below:

LUA (lukla VNLK) will most likely be another. Airport is 9100ft elevation, runway is 1,500 feet (460 m) long, 65 feet (20 m) wide. and only 1 way in and out. I know there may be one in the US, but cant remember the airport for the life of me.

Found it on The Box and thought it was a decent look.
They overdid some of the danger stuff, but that was well made up for by some footage of airplanes doing the circuit - and especially with the local pilot and ATCO in the Lukla segment.
It would be pretty awesome if someone, somewhere, would one day do a program of this sort with a bit more insight. Like, how on earth did they manage to get a paved runway up there in the first place? Did they literally airlift a steamroller in? And perhaps something on the the Syangboche airfield (located even high), which was intended as a replacement for Lukla but never got underway - though it's still used by choppers and Pilatus PC-6 aircraft occasionally.

Quoting santos (Reply 5): Come Fly With Me on Xmas days? New BBC comedy series?
I really enjoyed the series "Little Britain" and the talents of Matt Lucas and David Williams ("computer says no"). Hopefully it will make its way over to BBC America.
