[the following has also been posted in the trip report forum]

I ten days I should be flying from Moscow to Malaga (Spain) on board a TU 204. It will be the first time and I am really excited.

I don't know how many of those newest Russian a/c are around, perhaps fewer than concordes. I hope it will be a change from the classic TU 154.

Are there any particulars that you would like me to check for you?

Has anyone already flown them?

Cool. Remember to take your camera! See if you can take a couple of pictures in the cabin and cockpit.

My recollection of Tupolevs were of a lot of rattles and shakes, at least on the ground. I'd like to hear if they've tightened things up a bit.

Cheers,

Charles

Here is a photo of the Tu-204 cockpit as used in Sibir Airlines service.

Can probably get photos of their cabins, and other bits and pieces if interested.

Take some safety cards, they fetch a bunch of $$$ at eBay. Ask the crew before taking them (I have to say that, otherwise I´d incite you to commit a theft Big grin).

I saw three Tu204s in Moscow my last time there. They sure do look good. The panel looks like a copy of the Airbus panel or maybe the other way around  Smile
Have fun! Tell us what it is like in depth
