A Mesaba Airlines flight (flight #3637) operating as Delta connection made an emergency landing in Madison, Wisconsin this afternoon (Friday, January 7th, 2010). The flight was en-route to Dayton, Ohio, from Minneapolis. One of the engines on the Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200 (twin-jet) (CRJ2/L) failed. The plane landed safely after reporting engine trouble. All forty passengers deplaned without injury.

The engine didn't fail. The crew received a warning indication and precautionary shutdown was made. The plane is still in MSN, presumably being worked on by MX and will ferry out as soon as it can.
