At the end of 2009, I made a brief video consisting of clips I had recorded at my workplace, a small airport on the west coast of Norway.
So it felt only natural to make a similar video with some highlights from 2010, and for those who are interested, here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzOg-Cq84ew

I've even created a profile / channel for "my" airport on youtube, where you can check out a selection of other videos showing some of the activity here, including last years airshow, and the 2009 highlights. http://www.youtube.com/user/StordLufthavn

Enough plugging now, hope you enjoy the video(s), and feel free to supply some feedback, be it good or bad.

It's fantastic. Love the soundtrack and you've got some really good footage.

Thanks for sharing.

It's very nice, good music, good footage and some nice planes.

Awesome videos!
Do you work there? Seems like a very nice place to visit.
Which are the routes to/from Stord?

Keep on the good work

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Yes I do work there, thus I have decent access whenever something happens.
Stord does not have too many scheduled flights. Although there is the occasional charter flight now and then, the only scheduled flight at the moment is to the Norwegian capital Oslo.

Great video! Looks like CHC runs a large operation there. The S-92 is an impressive machine.

Actually they were only at the airport for a few days. They are normally based somewhere else, but due to a strike at that airport, they came to us instead. Not that we had any problems with them visiting...

No arguements there... hehe.

Correct.

If it is of any interest, this video shows more of the action at the airport during one of the days the helicopters were flying offshore from my workplace.
