I just found out (thanks to XQF's post about AirLanka's name chane) that AirLanka, now known as SriLankan Airlines will start service to Sydney as of November 13 this year. Does anyone know what aircraft they will use.......A340? A330-200? or TriStar? Cant wait to see them whatever the type!

SriLanakan will be flying their A340s in all four days. At the moment most flights are booked and they are offering sensational fares to Europe and sub continent and are in the hot sellers list in travel.com.au.
I thought they eould fly the A330 but I think the superior cargo carrying capacity of A340 was a factor in the decision.
