What routes can I still get that Delta "Wide Ride" on a TriStar?

I know this has been asked before but I am sure the situation is fluid.

You really need to hurry on this one. I think you have 5 weeks to find one. Go to OAG.com, register, and start looking at ATL-(LAX/SFO/MCO/MIA/FLL). Better yet call Delta, get the number and address for the public realtions department and contact them. Tell them that you have never had the pleasure of flying on a Delta L-1011 and really would like to know how it could be arranged. I'm not saying that they'll provide something free, not by a long shot, but I bet they will let you know something. Lay it on thick, they eat it up (as all airlines do). Best of luck.

I was thinking on travelling on the Delta Tristar on my way from Toronto to Ft. Lauderdale in July. Should I go ahead with it? The flight connects in Atlanta.

Tell them you are going to write an article on airliners.net about the retirement and ask for a press pass, etc., it's worth a shot.
