I think the interesting thing in 2011 is to see what happens with FL/WN at the airport (like several other small airports).. maybe we can break this record in 2011

Go ACY!!!

To be honest, I haven't flown out of ACY since the late 90s, so I don't really know what the airport looks like, but I would definitely consider flying out of ACY more if the AC train stopped at the airport. I know SJTA is working on that...

That would be something the NJ governor would have to push for, and it was suggested in one of the recent studies (however the study emphasis was on a new line in Gloucester County to Camden), rather than emphasis on upgrading the AC Line.

I think the cab fare from the Absecon or Egg Harbor City train station to ACY isn't too expensive.

What NJT could do is just rename one of those stations to "ACY Airport station", and SJTA could provide shuttles to the airport. Similarly, one needs to get on a bus at the Amtrak BWI station to actually get to a BWI gate.

SJTA offers free bus service from the Egg Harbor Station to the airport now... it also stops at Stockton College and the FAA Tech Ctr (started about 2 months ago)...
