I am about to travel between Mexico City and Tijuana and I asked for the best price to an internet travel agent and he answered my mail telling me that the best prices are given by the following operators:

LL
6A
N2
AM

I know tha AM is Aeromexico but what about the others?
Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks for the answer, I also suspected that LL could be Azteca but I did not know that Azteca operated 727, in fact the travel agent sent the following info:

From MEX to TIJ the following flights are available:

LL 560 operated with Boeing 727 Stretch
N2 220 operated with Boeing 727
6A 470 operated with Boeing 727
AM 176 operated with Boeing 757

So Azteca operates 727? I thought it only have 737 anyway do you think that the travel agent might be wrong with the aircraft type?

Azteca only operates 737's. Either the travel agent made a mistake or the airline is not Azteca. Allegro is the other airline that flies between TIJ-MEX with 727-200 equipment. Could it be that it's Allegro instead of Azteca?

Best regards,
A. Diaz

LL - Allegro

No doubt about it.

IATA´s:

LL = Lineas Aereas Allegro. In the CRS systems most of the times you can only read Lineas Aereas, so many people think that LL is AZTECA, but it is Lineas Aereas ALLEGRO or ALLEGRO Airlines.

ZE = Lineas Aereas Azteca. Although they do have an IATA code, they still can´t be found on CRS systems, so not all travel agents can sell Azteca tickets.
