Starting March 27, Emirates will add a double daily service to Vienna, departing in the late evening and allowing for better connections to Africa and a number of other destinations. Passenger transfer times at DXB for these routes are greatly reduced as a result of the new service, which will be carried out by an A340-500 (complementing the 777-300ER midday service).
From the 1st of September, the airline will also be introducing a second daily service to Hamburg using a 777-200.

VIE is going 11 weekly and not double daily.

Can you tell us what days they will be operating the second flight? Oh, and what are the flight times and numbers? VIE has long been may favorite European destination despite family links with HAM.
The limitation on flights to Germany is not so much by frequencies but destiantions. Under the present arrangements EK may only fly to four destinations. It has chosen FRA, MUC, DUS and HAM. But it may operate multiple flights to each and is not restricted on capacity. So it may choose to use 332s, 345s, 77Ls, 77Ws or 380s as it sees fit.
EK has previoulsy operated double daily to HAM, with one flight continuing to JFK.

Not quite, you are right about the continuation to JFK, however the HAM-DXB and DXB-HAM sectors were only operated once daily.
EK205 flew DXB-HAM-JFK
EK206 flew JFK-HAM-DXB
