Icelandair To Stansted?

The wiki entry for Stansted has Icelandair listed as serving the airport from October 2011, but I can find no other evidence to corroborate this for this apart from a table mentioning it at anna. Is this true? If so, how many times a week will they be flying? I presume this will be in addition to, not instead of, their LHR service - am I right?

Have you had a look on their website? It was announced months ago that they would be flying STN-KEF, a lot of Icelandic shoppers descend on the UK in the run up to Christmas as commodity prices in Iceland are incredibly expensive.

Yes I have, actually, and no mention of Stansted in their News, Timetable or Destination guide, as far as I can see - that's at .co.uk, and as far as I can tell, at .is as well. I probably need new specs. Might you be thinking of Iceland Express, who went back to to STN in a small way after their move to LGW?

No I am thinking of Icelandair, it might only be being sold from the KEF end as it's geared towards Icelandic shoppers attempting to thaw rather then unusual people visiting the frozen North in winter....

Could it be an error and that it should be Iceland Express that should be standing there instead of Icelandair?

Maybe, but any Icelandic shopper with any nouse would automatically choose to go to Glasgow or Manchester instead, surely?
