Just flew into SNA from LAS on WN today and the new Terminal C coming along nicely.
But are the gate's going to be renumbered?
Who's getting what gate's or are they still staying shared?
And is it true that any RON a/c on a gate must push the gate at 06:45 mon-sat. and 07:45 on Sun.
and No RON a/c may stay on the gate before 21:45 sun-fri and 20:00 on sat?
my post are my opinion only and not those of southwest airlines and or airtran airlines.
Not sure if they have to push back by 6:45 but if they don't they get stuck at the back of the line for takeoff so I am pretty sure airlines want to leave as soon as they can and not get stuck in a 14 plane line for takeoff.
The can probably RON at the airport before 21:45 but would have to do it at the remote RON as flight can arrive until 23:00 but only leave until 22:00 so the last arriving flights need the gate for arrival.

Yeah as GMCC states, the new C Terminal will essentially be a Southwest facility.
On the curfew, the tower will let you push(and even takeoff) when you want, however if take off prior to the curfew you'll get a violation.
On the RON parking, there is no time restrictions. What is restricted however just like slots, airlines receive RON authorizations and can only park authorized number of aircraft overnight. How they decided to schedule those is up to them.
For instance for the current schedule period (till end of March) the following are authorized number of RONs by carrier.
Alaska - 3
American - 4
Delta - 4
Frontier - 1
Southwest - 3
United - 5
US Air / Mesa / Continental - 6 (carriers pool their authorizations)
Skywest - 1 (weekends only)
