I just checked ATR's website could not find any news about the new -600 series such as deliveries. Does anyone have any new info? Thanks.

Another question, if I may...

Is the forward passenger door option only available on the -72? Or the -42 as well?

Good questions, the aircraft is still undergoing testing I assume but I would also like to know the progress on that. When is the first delivery expected and to which customer?

The launch customer for the ATR 72-600 is Air Caraibes; Air Tahiti was the first to commit to the ATR 42-600. Other -600 customers include Italy’s maritime patrol force, the Turkish navy and Spanish regional carrier Air Nostrum. The very first 72-600 customer was Mount Cook Airline but due to the financial crises they backed out.

Thanks for the information bjorn14. You forgot Caribbean Airlines who also has leased/bought these Next Generation ATR's.

I think they inked their deal in the last few days. AFAIK they bought them. There are a few more who have ordered too.

I think I read someplace that LO is to get at least two 600s this year.
