Correct Designation Of SNCASE/Sud-Est Aircraft?

Is there an official designation of SNCASE/Sud-Est aircraft in relation to the initials 'S E'. For example the Sud Aviation Caravelle is often referred to as the SE-210, S.E.210, SE.210 or SE 210.

I know a.net uses SE-210, and is probably the most reliable source I can find, but SE.210 appears most common elsewhere.

Wikipedia as usual is fairly useless and can't make it's mind up between paragraphs.

Has anyone got a more reliable source?

According to Alexandre Avrane's 1981 book Sud-Est Caravelle, the designation is SE-210. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the designation is SE 210. So I do not know what the best answer is.
