As per UA's 10-K, they own 3 A330s which they lease to another carrier.. Is this true? If so, what are the aircraft and to which carrier are they leased...

I was just reading the same thing and I assumed they took on leases from EI because I can't think of any other reason they would have A330s.

They were originally purchased by AC who still opertes them. During AC's bankruptcy, AC needed some help and UA stepped in and purchased three A330s and leased them back to AC.

Would be a silly thread if they didn't. They're clearly listed in the 10K and AC still operates.

However I do not believe we will ever see them in the CO/UA livery any time soon.
