OK IF YOU WERE TO BECOME THE QWNER OF AMERICAN AIRLINES HOW WOULD YPU MAKE THE LIVERY? I WOULD MAKE A LIVERY SOMEWHAT LIKE THE NEW USAIRWAYS LIVERY. I THINK THE NAVY BLUE AND RED WHITE AND BLU MAKE IT LOOK TRULY "AMERICAN" I THINK THAT IF THE PLANE WAS NAVY BLUE WHERE IT IS SILVERAND WHITE WHERE THERE IS THE BLUE ON THE CURRENT SCHEME I THINK THE PLANE WOULD LOOK VERY NICE! HOW WOULD YOU CHANGE AMERICAN AIRLINES LIVERY?

I would have the aircraft all white with a blue
and red strip around it that is just below the
window line. I would put the "American Airlines"
where it is now in the same place but Italic and
3D. For the tail a American Flag replica with a
Eagle in the forfront of the flag. Eagle would be
like the USPS logo on there tail. The flag on the
tail would also look like it waving in the wind!
I also like the old lightning bolt idea!

I would put a huge wavy american flay that would cover the whole aircraft. The fuse would be wavy red and while stripes and the tail would be the blue with the white stripes. The engines would follow the design and would have the seal of the united states (or the AA logo) on their side. I would only have american written very small near the nose, so that it owuld look like a flying american flag.

I already talked about that, but I'll go over it again for those who are new in this forum.
Here is my idea:
I would leave the AA logo as it is on the tail
I would paint the fuselage in light gray, I would leave the belly of the airplane silver and in between I would put a thin blue/white/red cheatline (like United did between the navy belly and dark gray fuselage, their blue/red/orange cheatline), I would write in small the logo AA and the words American (in red) Airlines (in blue)in front of the fuselage on each side just above the cheatline and finally I would write huge red titles across the fuselage: American.
I would leave the engines as they are.
