Hope LAX is one of it's first international airports it will land at.

PS: Not the best looking A380 livery, but an extra A380 at LAX will be great to see when I visit home.

The Korean Logo (the red/blue swirls) is slightly bigger than the font size. Also adding to the illusion is the R that descends below the baseline of the font and both the A's ascend higher, too. Same Korean logo and font as always.

(and I hope to see her at LAX soon)

Ugh. The A380 is just so unattractive, but the livery is pretty nice. It's good to finally see a non-Euro white A380.

Not the best photos. Weird angles and wide shots.

Will be interesting to see this rotating through a long lens.

Great looking plane and fantastic to see a non-white livery in a large aircraft, they seem to be so scarce.

Looks lovely! Can't wait to see it in person!

For those wondering, the tail number will be HL7611, and not HL8213 as originally thought.

What a daring comment to make!   I predict you'll be lashed over that one.

I like the Korean colours on the A380. It's great to see something other than the usual QF, EK, SQ, AF, LH colour schemes.

I guess I will put my 2 cents worth in on aesthetics.

1-Always been a fan of KL's livery
2-Never liked the huge "forehead" of the A380, nothing against Airbus, I just don't like the looks of it much, but still love to see it fly and thankfully LAX has its fair share of whalejets
3-Not a fan of the 788, either. Looks stubby and stunted. Still love to see it fly and would love to be aboard one as soon as I can.
4-Bring on the A350, just lovely to the eyes...same with the 773 and A345/6, just a delight to see those rotate off the tarmac
5-As a PAX, well, sorry to see the 767s begin to fade into retirement. What a delight 2-3-2 is. Or was...Same goes with the A345/6 product.

Ya, I like the KE livery well enough, but boy does that look unattractive to me. Not quite as bad from the side as it is from the front, but still...

As to the "Queen of the Skies" comment, you can call it whatever you like, but it doesn't change the appearance of itin that livery. Maybe "Drag Queen of the Skies"?

I think it looks quite good, but would have thought that the grey cheat line would be thinner or lower down the fuselage.

Having said that, its great to see an A380 that isn't predominantly white!

I don't think it looks bad at all.. I agree with previous comments that it's nice to finally see something different to the predominantly while 380s we've seen so far.

Can't wait for Asiana, British or Cathay (if they decide to get it).. It will look magnificent it those liveries..

People who keep complaining about the bad looks of the A380 are entitled to their opinion, although it kind of gets tiresome to keep hearing the same whining for so many years.... One thing is to not like a livery, but another is to keep mentioning the same old opinion that the airplane is ugly.

Anyways, for those of us who like the A380, this livery is one of the nicest. I haven't flown in KE for a while, but look forward to flying with them again in the future and would like to fly on the A380.

Congrats to KE for their awsome A380! Love it!

Must it be emphasized in each thread that the A380 is no looker like the 747? The A380 is much like the 77W, strange looks but technically state-of-the-art.

When I was a kid I remember hearing my father and his friends discussing permanently on the horrible bump on the 747 and maybe that is why I never liked the -100 and -200 versions. It took the elongated upper deck for me to like the 747. Now I understand that when new proportions are put out in planes is not easy at the beginning for everybody to get used to them. But I agree that the permanent complaining about this aircraft is simply not nice. It is an amazing flying machine and it looks great in these colors.
