I just don't understand the obsession of getting this airline going again. Let the market sort it out. Mexico has other airlines.

(not directed at you BGOODAM, just talking aloud).

Mexicana is dead...let's quit picking at their corpse.

Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.

Lets not talk crap about Mexicana please. Mexicana will come back. Enough of the negativity.

Bring JetBlue To Mexico City! (TLC and/or MEX would be great)

It's not talking crap, it's talking reality. Let's let the airlines with sustainable business models have their chance.

It's a sad thing, indeed - in a sense, the last vestige of PanAm, as well.

It's not talking crap when an airline has been grounded for around seven months. In the mean time Volaris and AeroMexico are picking up the slack. It's sad such an historic airline has had it's wings clipped, but that is the reality of the situation.

I'm still wondering when the -YYC grounded- Mexicana A319 (leased from Air Canada) is finally going to get repainted, and rejoin AC's fleet...

It's not talking crap. The airline is dead. Management did what it does best and managed it into oblivion. From what I saw at MEX the other day, with Aero Mexico, Volaris, and Interjet, the void has already been filled. Mexicana is long past redundant.
