anyone can comment on their business class from SYD to HKG???? service, food, IFE, seat etc, also, any difference between their own 744 and the leased 744 from BA????

I have flown QF 128 Hong Kong - Sydney on the leased BA Aircraft, and to tell you the truth it was one of the worst flights ive ever had!
The seats were diabolical, the food was crap, the entertainment was a couple of TV screens for the whole economy cabin. And the seat layout was realy weired! I had a exit row seat, 46B, this was nice due to the 6 odd foot of legroom, and on the way back i was 44E, which had no legroom at all. What a dam ugly plane as well, those colours are disgusting!
That's one of the wrst world colours schemes i've seen. Why doesn't qantas wet lease the plane, or at least upgrade the seating in it. When i walked through the Business class cabin the seating looked pretty boreing. Sorry to diapoint but if you had any sense i'd take Cathay Pacific, there business class kicks!
Even though it will probebley be a A340 it's still very nice and better than the BA/QF hybrid opperating on this route.
Hopefuly you havn't booked yourself on this bird, you might get lucky and get a real QF plane!

well....of cos CX is my first choice....but i'm just worry that they may not allow my father to use his FF points to get me up-grade on a CX discounted Y class ticket....but that shouldn't be a problem rite??? since they are in the same alliance.....
btw....why did you fly QF though???? from my past experiences, CX economy class is a bit better than QF's

CX's economy class is MUCH better than QF's on this route.
If you were coming here, come on Cathay Pacific - even if it means going on Economy.
Its not worth the miles to go on (BA) Business Class on this route. It would be much more worthwhile to have Economy on CX at full fare.
I hope they get rid of them soon.

having an airline related nickname doesn't mean you fully support the airline and pledge allegiance to them under oath!
I recommend Ansett on this route, and look at my nickname. Not everybody is so immature that they will take any measures to force people to fly their favourite airline, even when there is a clear winner somewhere else.
Dont fly BA then!
