Is the red-headed vixen from the DL safety demo video an actual DL flight attendant or an actress? I tell you when she waves her finger at me not to smoke in the lavatory....my heart pitter-patters a little. I'm not sure I'd pay attention to the safety demo as closely if it was not for her.

Yes, she is. Her name is Katherine Lee and I think she worked at Song until the Song brand was absorbed into Delta mainline. I think right now she's a flight attendant trainer.

And I know what you mean :P When I was on DL last year, she came on and a huge crowd of students were shouting ANGELINA JOLIE. There's a reason she's called Deltalina.

Yes, she is a real DL flight attendant and others are also real flight attendants too in the flight safety demo.

Kat is a real Delta flight attendant. She was Delta mainline, then got hired with Song, and then came back to Delta mainline. She was one of my trainers in initial Flight Attendant Training. She is a very sweet girl. Very willing to help anyone, and a true embodiment of what Delta stands for!

And for good reason she is a Chairman's Club recipient for 2010.

She is an absolute sweetheart in person too - it was great to meet her last year at a frequent flyer event hosted by Delta.

I look forward to seeing her every time I fly on a video-equipped aircraft. I was really disappointed recently when I flew on a Delta 757 that had the TV monitors removed and they did a live safety demonstration. The places where the TV monitors had been were covered with metal plates, or they might have been plastic. The aircraft was N552NW.

It most certainly was not on N761DE, which is a Cessna Centurion prop plane.

The plane was N6710E, an ex-Song 757-200.

I think she was on the Pink Plane 757 at the 2007 Dayton Air Show, before the new safety video was filmed. I recognized her, but only after the new video showed up for the first time.

What I found interesting was that she wanted to see inside the An-124 which was on static display and was disappointed to hear that it wasn't open.

Isn't amazing how different the new videos are between DL and UA? UA's are real personnel as well. But they all look like they don't want to be there.. If I can only get Kat wag her finger to me once

DL does a good enough job of driving a wedge between the PM workgroups; they don't need you to carry their water for them.

Don't quit your day job.

The male FA with the goatee is definitely an FA for Delta. I've had him working a few of my flights in the past. I'd always get a kick out of it when people recognized him after watching the video. Definitely a conversation started for him.
