Former Yugoslavia president S. Milosevic is transported last night to the UN Yugoslavia Tribunal in The Hague (Netherlands). When Milosevic was picked up for transportation to The Hague he said: "Now already?". He then packed his clothes an cooperated. When Milosevic arrived at the airport in Tuzla he said: "I do not recognize the UN Tribunal in The Hague". From Tuzla he was secretly transported by a Royal Flight BAe 125 or 1000 of the Royal Air Force to RNLAF base Eindhoven (NL). At this base, during midnight, a Dutch state police helicopter (a MBB Bo 105) landed, without its lights on, to pick up Milosevic. During take off of the helicopter (including Milosevic) for its flight to the prison of Scheveningen (close to The Hague), the crew of the RAF BAe 125 (or 1000) asked the MBB Bo 105 policecrew if they were asure they had "the parcel". The air traffic control of RNLAF base Eindhoven used flares instead of radio contact to approve the take off of the police helicopter (this because of secretcy). Twenty minutes later the MBB Bo 105 landed, without its lights on, on the patio of the prison nearby The Hague. Immediatly after arrival Milosevic was brought to the prison hospital for a medical check. He is now under full supervision to avoid a possible suicide.

During the whole transport from Belgrade to The Hague Milosevic did not try to escape.

By the way, the local fire brigade removed (few hours before the arrival of the police helicopter) the cables above the prison's patio to create a safe landing spot. The cables above the prison's patio are normally there to avoid prisoner escapes by helicopters.

Next week Tuesday Milosevic will be bring to court.
