What is the current status of the 4 A-340's of defunct Olympic Airlines. Last time when I was in Athens there were only 3 parked at the Airport ! Any news what is going to happen with these birds as they have been parked now for more than 18 month !?!?

Which one is missing? Is it parked elsewhere on the airport or has it been sold & flown out to somewhere else?

Dismissed engineers are rumored to have extracted their revenge by destroying the logs and maintenance records of four A340 planes. Without these records, the planes are, in effect, unusable.

That was the rumour some weeks ago , have not been really following the Greek news recently to know what the truth was.

This does not sound that great for those A-340's ! Even thougn they are quite new they sit around and cost money! Would be nice to see them in maybe Aegean colors with flights to London, J'burg, Bangkok and New York.

Surely Airbus must have records ? Pretty stupid move if true, doesn't show you really liked your job to do this...
